Day 12: Leftovers, Derek Fisher, Iron Man

Summertime has officially arrived as we welcome our first stretch of 90+ degree days. So before the heat of the day set it, I took a few hours to take care of some yard work. While I was mowing, two things occurred to me -- two things that needed to be taken care of right away.

1. I haven't watched Summer School yet this summer.
2. The brats that I forgot to take off the grill on Sunday night were still on the grill.

Needless to say, the brats became priority number one. Pretty sure they would have been pretty nasty after a day of baking in the 90-some degree heat.

My daughters have been talking about getting a fish tank a lot lately so after swim lessons and gymnastics camps were done for the day, the girls and I set out to buy some fish. We wound up with five basic goldfish since my dad-sense told me that all five would not make it through the week. On the way home, the girls debated over names for the fish. I did my best to chime in with my suggestions -- Abraham or Derek Fisher. They weren't interested in my suggestions and settled on names like Henry, Sarah, and Iron Man (the last one, of course, named on Mason's behalf).

The Summer of Tim continues...

Just watched Summer School with my daughter for the first time a few months ago. It is one of my and my wife's favorite 80's fun-flicks.

Pair it up with One Crazy Summer and you have a real summer-stravaganza.
